I've been wanting to do this for a while and figured I would start now. I've always hated the fact that forum posts tend to be temporary things: once the thread expires, they're but a slot in a searchable database waiting to be stumbled upon by someone flipping through the archives. And, of course, eventually after the community dwindles and dies down the forum may expire or be deleted or even crash and all of your posts are gone forever. Given that I tend to spend way too long on forum posts this has always annoyed me and I have wanted a place to act as semi-permanent storage. Granted, a blog isn't much better, but I do have control over it which is nice.
As for the topics of the forthcoming posts, well, given the subject matter will be coming from many different forums, it will probably be all over the place. Everything from gaming rants to fan fiction will be placed here I imagine. I have some choice posts already in my mind that I will have to dig up (I plan on retrieving some past gems before they expire as well as any new ones I deem worthy).
